Fuel sending units

I have what I think is a 1989 Ramcharger fuel tank that has a fuel pump/sending unit that has a large hose type clamp retaining it. I finally got a view of the fuel sending unit in my '90 parts truck and it looks like it has the same clamp? So I'm wondering if the '90 Cummins unit will fit in the RC tank?

I do not really need a picture. I work on 1st gens 7 days a week.

The earlier 1st gen sending units have a red top, a round plug in for the wires and a metal circular “ draw straw “ inside the tank.

The ‘91.0’/ ‘93 have a flat plug in for the wires and are more of an off white color with plastic tubes for inside the tank.
