Fuel Pressure Guage Questions

Just installed A ISSPRO fuel pressure guage from vulcan performance.
Have a couple questions,
One, does it really matter that the isolator is below the guage?
second, does the antifreeze line need to be completly full, no bubbles ?
third, i am only getting about 4 lbs pressure, and on a WOT run, it drops to 2 lbs, looks like i need to change a lift pump soon, right?

thanks,

eric

I can only answer your fuel pressure questions. You have a healthy stock lift pump. 3psi is about average. Anywhere from 3-7psi max will be all you'll see. 2psi at WOT, it great, much better than zero. Bigger injectors and fuel pump tweaks and you'll see 0psi much sooner than WOT.

That makes me feel a lot better, vs. running out tomorrow and changing a lift pump

No, but let me know what you figure out. My isolator won't get here for another couple days.
