Geno's garage has a tapped banjo bolt that is for a 24v I think but it will fit our trucks too. Get that and replace the banjo bolt that has the bleeder screw in it with the tapped bolt and hook the gauge up there. Jonathan is right the pressure reading so be taken after the fuel filter and before the ip.

Unless it's untaxed, then it's red.

do the first gens need the "snubber" they say is needed for the pressure spikes during start up on the 98-02 trucks?

Restrictor fitting 3279

and i want the:

"BANJO BOLT - TAPPED ('98.5-'09, 5.9L & 6.7L" 12L14 steel Banjo Fittings feature a large diameter (.187” vs. .130”) fuel port. The fittings are SAE (3/4” hex) vs. the stock 17mm hex design.

yep get the banjo bolt from genos so you don't have to drill and tap the one you got (bad idea!!! I tried and didn't work too good). Yes if you have a mechanical lift pump than get a snubber, otherwise your gauge will bounce everywhere and it will kill your sensor if its an electronic gauge. I just bought the autometer snubber from genos while I was ordering the banjo bolt, but you could make your own too.

You just need a good tap! High speed steel.

I have my snubber ( valve ) wide open on my 93 with the low pressure piston lift pump and I see very little pulse. I have an isspro 30 psi gauge with their isolator.

I just used a 1/4 turn valve for mine. Open it just a smidge and it acts like a snubber. Also if you have a issue on the road with leaks you just turn off the valve and keep on truckin.
