Fuel Inside The AFC???
if it helps any, i replaced the o-ring on that AFC pin that rides up and down the fuel pin back in december. i recently bought an m3 fuel pin and when i pulled the AFC cover to replace the stocker with the m3, i noticed the under side of the diaphragm was slightly moist. it was fuel of course. i also noticed a little bit of fuel at the bottom of the bore... i know i seated the o-ring in it's recess when i replaced it. this concerns me a bit since i assumed the o-ring would eliminate any fuel leakage and i'd hate to pull everything apart again to check that o-ring. especially since i don't have a replacement for it. however, the stock fuel pin/cone wouldn't allow the AFC pin to come out that far in order for fuel to sneak by. i cleaned the AFC pin very well and there were no burrs of any kind on it that could have damaged the o-ring while in operation.
I honestly believe it is something that just goes with the territory of having any performance fuel pin. Most folks are having the same issue. I resealed mine once.......leaked again.
oh well, the "catch bottle" works great.
