Getting fuel in afc housing/fuel pin area. Why?

As the title says. Removed my fuel pin yesterday to take a look after I noticed some fuel had leaked out the little rubber overflow/breather(?) thing. What's the cause and correction for this. Pump has about 90,000 miles on it.

The seal on the pin that comes in the side of the housing is leaking. Pump top has to come off to replace the seal.

Pump top? If I tear it down like I will be doing soon to grind the AFC lever, will that be far enough into it? Where do I get the part? What's the part number?
Thanks,
Kurt

Yes, that is far enough to access that pin. The part number for the reseal kit is in the tech facts section of the site, any shop that rebuilds Bosch pumps can get it for you.

I really don't think you should grind the AFC lever, you won't like it. It gives you way too much fuel at zero boost when you have big injectors. Pull the whole lever out if you want to try it.
