freon question

I have a 1993 dodge cummins. It still has the R12 system. Does anyone know how much pressure its suppose to hold?

Pressures vary with operating conditions. That's why the gauges are labeled with product (R(n) and temperature, as well as pressure.

What's the problem?

Do you mean how many pounds of refrigerant does it hold?

Pressure changes depending on how hot the day is.

If it's not cooling well, it could be low on R-12 or there could be air in the system

This is one of my many Pressure Temperature Charts, it will tell you how much pressure you will have at any particular temperature, R-134a is included.
