I havent come across any of these in my searches before, it has an 84" wb if i remember correctly and the original flatbed was wood which rotted out n where the new steel bed came into play.

its called a chassis cab truck. and I think the 84" is from back of cab to rear axle center. it was not a factory flatbed. chassis cabs leave the factory without a bed.

I didn't think they had that option back then, first time I came across one. I meant 184" my bad. I can measure it this weekend to double check.

chassis cabs have been available for a long time. I have two of them. both mine are 60" cab to axle. I think the longer ones were 84" cab to axle. thats how they measured them cab to axle. its an industry standard and the bed manufacturors make one bed to fit all makes. measure the one you picked up cab to axle and bed length. the 60" was for a 9' bed, and the 84" was for a 12' bed. the one you guys picked up looks good. is it a 5 speed?

No auto w/ OD. No AC or power, its a 91 I/C. with 49k miles. I wish my blue one next to it in the pic was a 5 spd as well but I wasnt able to find any good shaw 5spd for a good deal around here or within a reasonable drive.

My "cab&chassis" wheel base is 159", and does have a 12' flatbed on it. I love it for work, other than small turnarounds. Sometimes I drive one of my other trucks with an 8' flatbed on it and it seems like I can't get enough crap on it, lol. Good find man, it looks nice.
