Engine Swap

Is there anyone interested in assisting in an engine swap from a 1993 D350 into a Crewcab 84 W350. I live south of Lincoln, Nebraska and would like to be starting this within the next month or so.
So, let me know. I'll provide the drinks feel free to come just to watch the mess or to supervise

Hopefully I can get things lined up before I start on it and get any issues addressed before then.
If anyone has any precautions or advise please let me know.

Engine Swap

I DID AN ENGINE SWAP ON MY 85 D-350 CREWCAB SHORT BED. SO FAR SO GOOD . YOU WILL NEED TO CHANGE OUT FRONT END IF YOU DON'T HAVE HEAVY DUTY FRONT SUSPENSION. AND YOU CAN ALSO USE YOUR STOCK GAS TANK.IF YOU CHECK POST IN Ist. GEN FORUM A GUY IN CANADA RECENTLY DID A SWAP AND DOCUMENTED IT QUITE WELL. YOU COULD GIVE HIM A CALL AND PICK HIS BRAIN A LITTLE AND SEE HOW HE DID HIS SWAP. FROM WHAT I SAW IT TURNED OUT GREAT BECAUSE AFTER HE FINISHED IT HE TOOK A TRIP TO CALIFORNIA WITH NO PROBLEMS. MY SUGGESTION TO YOU ALSO IS GO OVER YOUR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM ( wiring ) WITH A FINE TOOTH COMB AND MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS STRAIGHT FORWARD. THAT IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM I'VE SEEN WITH MY TRUCK SO FAR. MY WIRING HARNESS WAS NOT IN GOOD CONDITION AND I'VE HAD A FEW PROBLEMS IN THAT AREA. ALL IN ALL I DON'T REGRET SWAPPING GAS FOR DIESEL. ALSO MAKE SURE YOU GET 91.5 TO 93 SO YOU GET TURBO AND AFTERCOOLER (oops i see you have a 93 donor your good ) GO FOR IT AND HAVE FUN. CHECK BACK HERE FOR HELP. GOOD LUCK..... AUGIE DOG

I've Done Two Fourwheel Drives And Planning On A D-series Next, All Auto Trans But 5-spd Should Be Easy If You Have A Complete Donor. Only Wish I Could Have Used The Original Mid 80's Grills With The I/c. All In All A Very Enjoyable Swap, Good Luck. Pm If You Have Questions.
