I've had most of my cab apart and have a bonus piece. Can anyone help me place it?? I think the truck had a trailer brake and perhaps there is a hook in. Got a 8 in chunk of whit wire that looks factory and a ground lug. Hereit is
That certainly looks like it could be for trailer wiring.
IIRC white, black, red and blue wires are what I would expect to see for wires running to trailer brake stuff.
I used to hate when that happened while I was replacing dashboards in mid-80's Cadillacs after some thief tore the factory radio out with a tire iron......Ben
Anyone know where it plugs into the main harness? Where the harness bends, the wires are crushed like it was caught between the steering column is my only guess??
Yes I think so. It's on the right portion of the pedal support, loops around the support bracket for the buzzer and intermittent wiper relay to the main harness.
Still lost. That's weird on the brake light switch to main harness. I would think the colors should match. I should be able to jumper and see the lights work??
