Electrical connections behind the glove box ?'s

I took the glove box totally out....I know where the RWAL connection is located. Just inside of the glove to the RIGHT is an electrical connector....what is this going to?

Thanks, Tony

unknown plug

Without knowing the number of pins in the connector I can't say for certain. But I have noticed that many diesel interior harnesses are wired for options a specific truck may not have installed. Given that its likely it's the plug for an electric window/power mirror/power lock equipped vehicle. I don't have a wiring diagram specifically for a 91, but could look at a 92 if I had a specific description of the plugs pin count, color, and sex (male or female pins).

picture helps but not necessary

While a picture is very useful and saves time in this situation, a good description is all that's really needed. plug color, number of wires(pins) and their colors, and sex of plug (male or female pins.connectors) are really all thats needed. Please excuse the double post earlier.

I believe you are looking at the connector for the Daytime running light option and/or the snow plow lighting options...

Red face

The blower motor resistor is also located in the vicinity of the RWAL, should be a 5 wire connector plugs into the airbox just above the RWAL module, to the lower right there are 2 connectors in the harness that connect the power windows, door locks and power mirrors to the passenger door at least on mine with LE package.

Snow plow option should be at the base of the column near the top of the dash.
