Talking EDM's in!

I'm trying an experimental set of EDM's from Diesel Performance Solutions, these are the same injectors Swank is running. They showed up Friday, and it rained all day Saturday. This morning was clear and sunny, so in they went. Anti-sieze on the POD's paid off, they popped right out with no trouble. After a short bleeding session, the truck lit right off and idled smooth. Light smoke at cold idle, but not that nasty eye-burning reek the POD's lay down. Took 'er out for a test ride. Ran nice, power was good. In valet mode I can peg the pyro in 4th without flooring it. Even with that much fuel the exhaust is cleaner. I gotta put a new AFC lever in this thing, though. There is just way too much fuel on the bottom end.

Dyno results will come in October.

Sweet... When's the next dyno trip?

I take it that you have a new turbo on the agenda, or are you going to get some experimental pistons somewhere along the line too?

You need to work on your reading comprehension.

Actually I'm gonna put a stock AFC lever in and run around in valet mode. That should help until I can afford more air.

More specific man, more specific...

And you're not allowed to run in valet mode. It ain't right to install new toys and then not get to use them...

Looking for an HT3B now, or something special?

suh weet!!! glad to hear you got em in. they sure are nice, eh? i'm REALLY happy with mine. i do get VERY slight smoke at idle, but i chalked it up to the .020 over HG and the 400k+ rings, etc. i hit 70psi boost with em at the dyno last week. when i had the pump re-done, they put the afc back in. it did help quite a bit. you definitely need to get that second turbo though. it'll give ya big smiles.

I just got in from swapping pump tops, my truck has a virgin AFC lever once again. Still a pyro pegging beast with boost to the AFC, but valet mode really is valet mode now. With the truck in valet mode, I can get 'er up to 1250 on a hard pull in 5th and thats it. Turn on the water/meth and it's a monster even without the AFC fueling! SOTP it's making around 320 HP in valet with the water/meth going. I haven't had the guts to floor in with full fuel and water/meth yet. I'll update as I get more seat time.

Oh, believe me, I'm using 'em. Valet just keeps it clean in town. There is more power available in valet with water/meth than I can use on the roads around here.

I'm looking for a big pile of money. My fab skills and shop facilities (street in front of the house) are not up to building twins. You wouldn't happen to have a stack of $100 bills lying around, would you?

Sorry to have missed you, Greg. You ought to come down to Fall Brawl.

I'd like a cam eventually, but I really need more air in a bad way. At least I have a good top turbo.

Sell the boat and use the cash to build the truck.

Thats good to here Dave, did that noise go away? I might have to do something soon, the POD haze is really getting to me and everyone else. Do you think they would be an injector I would do a bit of towing with?
