I didnt want a RPM repeat to happen. It the same head/rotor that I had down at RPM so I know its capable of at least 400hp on #2. I should have a new 14mm pump before I leave to go down to May Madness on the 2nd. I hope to have it a couple of days before I leave so I can tune it on the dyno, but I dont know if that will be possible. I might have to thow it on when I get down there. Timb- Next time I will dyno in the morning and then we can take my pump off and put it on your pickup and see how close the numbers are. Then I will put your pump on my pickup and see what it does. It would be a busy day, but we could get quite a bit of testing done.
Stomp
That would be a long day for sure. but it would cut out some of the idle time between runs. as soon as I get a spare pump we will do a little tuning on it to see what we come up with. And I to will keep the spare on hand at all times.
Yeah it would be a long day, but it could be done.
A spare pump would be nice to have, but since you are still running a stock pump you probably wouldnt need it for a very long time. They seldom just go bad. Usually they have signs that they are going out.
We could have fun with a spare though.

Hey Stomp, Sorry to hear it. I was hoping that the new changes would fix the problems.
So what is the plan now? You still going to stick with the VE? Or are you going to give in, And bow down to the P-Pump god
You still make good power on the 12mm pump. Maybe you should go with a little N20
Thanks

No I overnighted the head/rotor back to KTA and he was going to modify another one and overnight it back. I am going to add a case pressure gauge and re-rout my return line on the pump so fuel can go in there if the pressure drops too low. If the pressure is good then it will just go back to the tank. The case pressure gauge will give ua a good idea of whats going on inside. I should have it on for May Madness.
I should actually get it back sometime this week. My plan is to get it on the dyno before I leave so I can see where I am at. Plus I need to do some tuning. N2O I have thought about it
We will see where its at and then go from there. Stomp
N2O! oh ya, that's what you need to go and do. put more ground between us. I'll never catch up with you HP wise anyhow.but watch out for the torque monster.
. I will be looking around for a spare soon so we can do a little tuning on it.but if the torque starts dropping off, I wont be a happy camper.
