I think I may have a problem. I just got on my new Industrial Injection 66 Turbo. I got a 2nd gen Hx-40 down pipe with it but It wont be here till monday. I just read on here that a 2nd gen down pipe won't fit. Anyone have suggestion on what I might can do to make it fit or work. I only have this week cause there is a big pull on Saturday to get this to work.

If you or a buddy of yours can weld you should be able to make your own down pipe pretty easily. You just need a 4" 90 degree bend down out of the turbo and then another 90 to point it back towards the back of your truck. It will take a little tinkerin to get the pipe linned up right but it can be done.

Another option would be to call source auto, they sell a 4" down pipe with the hx-40 flange that is designed for a first gen for around $200. Thats what I did since I can't weld, it fits great. There over here on the west coast so you might have to pay for some spendy shipping to get it in time. Good luck.

The hammer worked! It is tight but I think it will do for now. I just got to cut it off a little bit and hook it up to the transfer case pipe!

I hate it when I have to buy parts twice cause I ordered one that wouldn't work the first time
