Yes they will, but you must have the dana 60 front u-bolts and plate for the top. the tubes are larger than your dana 44 and the plate is different. the pumpkins are larger as well, which means your driveshafts will be too long, you'll have to have them shortened. And like already said, the u-joints are larger. Combo joints are the easiest and cheapest way to fix that, just be sure to make a note of the part number for when you have to go get another one later down the road.

The dana 44 is 12 1/2" from center of axle tube to center of U-joint yoke. Dana 60/70 is 14 1/2".

U-joints should not be a problem as if I do go through with this project , I would be swapping the entire diesel drivetrain into the Ramcharger. I assume the spring perch mounts and shock mounts on the Ramcharger frame are identical to the spring perch mounts and shock mounts that are on the donor w-250 frame ?

You are correct.

Might want to see how much longer the diesel drivetrain with the 205 is over the ramcharger's with 208.

Even if there would be a difference between the 208 and 205 drivetrain length , would'nt the Ramcharger frame not have pre-drilled mounting points in which to bolt up the w-250 transmission crossmember ?

Probably not the same locations. I was just wondering due to how short it may possibly make your rear driveshaft. Not sure if your truck is lifted at all.

The Ramcharger would not be lifted , however I would swapping in the w-250 leafs onto the Ramcharger frame , I imagine that this would change the Ramchargers stance somewhat . The transmission would be the getrag which I assume would probably shorten the drivetrain as compared to the Ramchargers original automatic .

I think it will still be longer due to the length of the diesel but you will know once you set it in there .Sound's like a kool swap if you want contact member Fred Swanson he has a ramcharger ctd powered he might be able to give you all the info you are looking for
