OK, I see you edited the first post. One more question: Is the truck intercooled? A non-intercooled truck has an 18.5 cm housing that works pretty well with an automatic and a tweaked pump, there's really not much to be gained in that case. If you want faster spoolup for better response around town, a 12 cm wastegated housing will do that, and used ones are cheap enough that it's worth doing. The 16 cm housing is not enough of an improvement on an automatic to justify the price.
The early intercooled trucks have the completely worthless 21 cm housing, which you should ditch now if not sooner. Those take nearly forever to spool and don't provide enough boost to control EGT once they are spooled. In this case the 16 cm housing is a good improvement for the price. The 12 cm is also a good option here, especially if the truck spends most of its time in town.
