I was going north, but it looked like a nice 91-93 nosed W250 crew cab short box going southbound, never seen it before. Anyone know it?

I'm assuming, but hard to tell at an effective 140mph since we were going opposite directions :P
I don't know for sure it was diesel, I was assuming that no one would go through the trouble for a gaser.

Not every one wants a diesel crew cab and or has the money and time to do the Swap on a 30 year old truck with over 100000 miles on it.
Could be a gasser

at least you guys get to speculate whether a truck was a gasser or oilburner

I very RARELY see a W250 around my parts

for some reason it's really cool to run across another 1st genner

Same here...and when I do, generally it's USED. Like, 2 dudes and a bunch of scrap metal, and it's hard to tell where the scrap ends and the truck begins.
