Cruise Control

I have converted 2 '85 Crew Cab trucks to CTD and in both cases the cruise control worked on the donor trucks but quit working in the Crew Cab trucks. All of the wiring harness, dash, steering column, etc was swapped over. However I did not swap the ABS components. Could this be why the cruise doesn't work? If so is there a way to bypass this?

The ABS has nothing to do with the cruise, the ABS is a totally independent system. Is it possible you damaged the clock spring while the column was out?
