I am somewhat mechanicaly challenged and have no welding skills at all so I went with the kit and it to 2 to 3 hours to install.

I used the Skyjacker pitman arm since it was already on my steering box but the stock one would have worked just fine.

Good Luck!
thats awsome looking. so how did it help with play in the steering? because i also have a 6in skyjacker and it has very sloppy steering in it. and im already changed the steering box and put in a borgensin steering shaft.

Well before I installed the crossover steering it was a handfull. With all of the bump steering and wandering I had to have both hands on the wheel to drive safely. I would not let anyone else drive the truck because of the steering.
Now I drive with just one hand and the bump steering has been eliminated. Getting the King pins changed and the caster almost back into speck helped as well. Now my girlfriend and kids may drive when I let them HA HA!

I'll be building mine this week or weekend. If I can remember to take pictures I'll do a right up with part numbers for everything.

Has anyone ever used the highsteer crossover? I've thought about going that route to lessen the possibility of hitting the tie rod and bending it while wheeling.

It kind of looks like there is the potential for clearance issues with it and the leaf springs though.
