hey guys, i was just wondering what is involved in swapping a crew cab, or just an extended cab gas body onto my single cab 1st gen? i would love to just put the cab on and run a small flatbed in the rear. would it be as easy as swapping over the cab, using my wiring harness, and building a flat bed to fit when the cab is on? or am i missing something here?

You would have a SUPER short flatbed if you used a single cab chassis. Read the other thread that was just started for more details on this swap.

 

ok, thanks. how hard would it be to put an extended cab 2nd gen cab and front clip onto my truck with a flatbed? what would i have to change? i would use the 2nd gen cab with maual doors and locks. anything that my trucks wiring wouldnt have that i would need?
