crazy pyrometer

just wondering if anyone else experienced the same problem? pyro does the funcky chicken when lites are on, apply brakes and or signal lites. it of course opperates good at all other times . and not on all occasions does it act up. it is a auto-meter ibelieve

Try running the ground wire to the negative terminal on the battery.

My ground wire from battery to body was loose and mine did the same thing. Tightened it up and no more problems.

I checked my ground and the power source.
Both were good.
I changed the thremocouple and everything is fine now.
The bad thremocouple showed no signs of wear.
Looked like it did the day I installed it.
