pyrometer dancing around!

pyrometer dancing around!

???just installed guages and went for a ride and the pyro clims fast if i hammer on it it climbs with the pedal and if you let out of it it falls right back down just wondering if this is normal thanks!!

sound normal remember it measuring the exhaust gas temp not a fluid temp so it will change as fast as the exhaust gasses change

Sounds normal to me. What temps are you reading at WOT?

i only went for about a 5 mile test drive and seems to idle at about 200 and at wot would climb up to about 800 or 900.the probe is in ex manifold.thanks!
