Crank pick up

Any one know what the air gap should be for the crank sensor on a '92 CTD

According to my '93 service manual: Air gap should be between 1.25 mm (.049 in.) and 1.3 mm (.051 in.). The book says you MUST use a brass feeler gauge, not steel.
