No powerrammaster it was a club cab. But where the seat came from or what it was out of I don't know. The upholstery was the same as the front seat, he very well could have made it since he was a carpenter. Back then I probably cared less because I didn't have a Dodge, it was ok on short trips, alot better than the jump seats for sure.

Every Club Cab I've see or owned (76, 77, 78, 79 and now a 92 CTD) has had either the jump seats, or no seats in the back. The factory manuals do not show any part numbers for a rear club cab bench...so I'm guessing it was fabricated by someone. My dad bought a 73 1/2 ton Club Cab 4x4 brand new...he made a wooden box and had the top padded. Worked great when we were kids...of course back then, no seatbelts or child seats were required.

Ford rear club cab seats................

I have a family member who is giving me a mint condition rear extended cab bench seat. The vehicle is a 1980's something Ford F250 4x4. The rear bench looks like it may fit my 93' club cab. I was wondering if anyone else has done this conversion before? I will have to change the upholstry color, but thats no big deal. I'm assuming.........someone out there has made this Ford seat work?

Still wondering if anyone has used a Ford rear bench seat? I'd like to know if this will work with minimal modifications.

I am planning to modify the front center console and get rid of the stock plastic one. Eliminating this should provide some center leg room if needed in the back. I honestly do not use my console for anything. I will see what happens with this new seating arrangement.

If a person wanted to use the 80's Ford extended cab rear seat you would definately want the extension brackets that are available for them to raise the height. Without them your on the floor practically and it is not comfortable. Plus the Ford units fold down into a flat storge mode about midway up the seat backs of the front seats. The Ford rear bench looks alot like this nice grey homemade one someone had linked to.

Yeah, I decided to keep my 93' and overhaul the transmission. I am also planning to do a rear bench seat conversion and eliminate the center console.
