Pushrods don't seem to be seating right?

I just set the head in place with the new studs and gasket, now the push rods don't seem to be seating properly. They all go in to the same level it seems... Do they just sit there or do they lightly "stick/snap" into place???

Well I feel like an idiot now. They look like they are all sitting at the same level, but when you put the rocker assembly on and tighten everything down, they get tension on them. All seems to be well now, every valve dips when it is supposed to. I guess I just overreacted... thanks, though Thumper.

I recommend adj. valves to the "min" clearance....1 deg of slop is 1 deg of retarded cam.......what we don't want

Intake range is from .006"-.015" set at .006". Exhaust range is .015"-.030" set at .015". Just be exact on your timing mark lining up both ways, use a step gauge, and double check settings, and jamnuts.
