Can't use key to shut off when modded?

I doubt 1 turn in will munch the plunger.

I put my new solenoid in last August. Is 6 months time-tested enough?

That's really bad! How long was that plunger in the truck after you noticed it wouldn't shut off? Mine only lost one chunk about half the size of what's gone on each side of yours, but I pulled it as soon as it stopped working.

The funny thing I don't get Is all that rubber has got to go somewhere. Has any one found where ith goes or is the cummins rubberdiesel friendly as well. Jethrro

i wondered that for a while too. the only thing i could come up with was that rubber doesn't do too well at 3600 psi. and i'm guessing those chunks didn't come off as whole pieces. the last one i took out was about like dave was saying.
