I'd like to try and clear up what I *THINK* is a bit of confusion...I'f I'm wrong PLEASE, maybe Mike could correct me....

Ok, the stock fuel cone, when set to the "factory lean" setting produces "X"amount of power...
When it is rotated to the "factory max" setting it will produce "Y" amount of power.

ALL aftermarket fuel pins will produce very, very close/identical results when compared to the baselines above.

If you compare an aftermarked cone to a factory cone which is set to "factory lean" you will see in and around 40 hp difference between them.
If you compare an aftermarked cone to a factory cone set to "factory max" you will see about
25-28 hp difference over the "factory max" cone results.

Does this make sense.???? I think Mike has tried a few times to make this point/comparison but it seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle, so to speak.

Lastly....Mike worked hard on his cone design. We (he and I) had a couple emails back and forth on this project in the very early stages and, after some more time and work he produced his product, which by the way IS a good product. Other suppliers also make very good/workable parts.

Keep in mind that the fuel cone design provides a variation in the movement of the "guide pin" inside the pump. This movement has a practical/physical limitation on it's "max" movement range.

So, no matter which cone you use, if you set/grind/alter a stock cone to allow more guide pin travel you will still (all) be faced with the physical limitation of the guide pins max range of travel, which in turn will produce the same results no matter which cone is used and/or altered...assuming they are altered to roughly the same amount.

pb....

I believe Mike has said that you will get about 23-40hp with his pin, depending on what your settings are.

Good post, Pastor. I don't think you can make it any clearer than that.
