Bully Dog fuel pin

Had anyone seen the new bully dog fuel pin?It says it's good for 40hp,and runs $200.I guess it is equivelant to Old Smokeys pin,it looks just like it.It can be seen at www.bullydog.com under ''dodge'' and then ''mechanical''.

I'd suggest just buying the "proven" pin from Mike himself. I have one & I think it is worth it.

How much is smoky's pin and where can you get them? I've been waiting for months for part 2 on the pin write-up.

They had one of those pins on ebay a while back, it was very unrefined in construction, just wasnt as slick and smooth as smokeys is.

I'll stay with Mike - he did a lot of R&D putting this product out there for all 1st Gen's. The rest just jumped on the wagon ('89 to '93 wagon) after all the work was done.

I am sorry it has taken so long for Part 2. I have been very busy at work. Im either working at the shop or running down to Cummins training center for certification or at Cat or Detroit. Hopefully I can get enough spare time to do this soon.

I installed an Old Smokey fuel pin. They claimed 28 HP to the tires. It was very noticable when installed. If someone makes one that claims 40 I would be careful.
The Old Smokey pin claims you get the most pin travel without risk of seal leakage. If the pin travels too far it will cause a seal to leak from my understanding. If someone trys it let me know how it works and possibly dyno results. Thanks
I bought the pin somewhere out of the state of Washington but cant remember where
Good luck

In Sept of 2003 I ran 325 RWHP on a Dyno Dynamics Dyno in Portland. Later that month I ran 354 RWHP at Piers Dyno Mania 2003. It was also a Dyno Dynamics and weather conditions were almost identical - that's a 29 RWHP with a "slightly" modified '93. The only change was Old Smokys pin was added.

I know that the Old Smokey Pin works great. Easy install (almost too easy) and made a difference in my SOP feel. Well worth the $$ to get one.

Once again Old Smoky. He is not making them any longer but I think you can get the plans on line - just not sure where. Try a search here and if that does not turn up anything let me know. If necessary I have other places I can try. If all that doesn't work I can take measurements of mine and send them to you.
