Brand new to the Diesel world

Hi all,
I am about to join the Diesel world. Use to have a 93 2wd gasser and loved the style of the truck, but have always wanted the diesel. Finally after searching a fair amount of time I am going to be picking up a 93 4X4 5 speed next week. At 50 I am like a kid waiting for Christmas. Being a newbie I am also looking forward to learning as much as I can on this site. I am not the most mechanical person in the world, but cant wait to learn.

You are a lot like me...2 years ago. I had no idea about cummins motors, or trucks. But being I'm very mechanically inclined, this site, and it's members, have taught me SOOO much!! I'm not afraid to tackle anything on my truck...if something goes wrong I know there is info here on the site, or members willing to help me out.

Congrats on your new purchase, and welcome to the best darn site, and the best darn power train, EVER!!

Welcome! Sounds like you found a good truck. Maybe you could post some pictures and give us a few details about the truck. If it breaks, somebody on this site will know exactly what you need to do to fix it, these guys are very knowledgeable and helpful.
