Boost readings?
What is some of the boost readings you guys are getting on your trucks? Im burying my 30psi gauge on my 92 and all that i was told that was done to it was 4" exhaust and gauges.Ive tweaked the pump and installed a PDR fuel pin but everyone I talked to say theres no way it can turn that much unless it has bigger injectors or smaller exhaust housing on the turbo.Just wondering what you guys thought and maybe what kinda boost yall are running.

I've got a 60lb gauge and i can hit 45-46psi and that's with the 18.5cm exhaust housing and mod's in my sig. I'm saving up for a bigger turbo or maybe twins.

You have plenty of fuel with your pods. I peg my 30 pound boost guage fairly easily with the stock sticks in my early 91. Pods put in even more fuel. I see no reason why yours would not go over 30.

What is your EGT like?
With my non IC truck with stock injectors, 18.5 stock turbo and bumped timing, I can hit 45 lbs boost.
HTT stage 3 now in, I can still hit 45,(pegged), Dont know when the H2O is steaming?

My work truck, the 4WD one in my signature, has stock nozzles, stock turbo with a 16CM housing the rest is pump tweaks It sees 34 PSI on a cold night at 4600 elevation. stock exhaust, with no muffler.

Well i just ordered my POD's and i have not got them in yet. That boost is with the stock sticks still. My EGT's only get around the 900-950 range right now but i think my gauge might be messed up because it rests around the 200 mark even after the truck has sat over night.I'm thinking it will turn around 35-40psi after i get my POD's put in.

25 is the most I have ever gotten with the mods below. Pyro at 8-900*, 1000* max depending on the grade and the load. Maybe I should be checking my intercooler for leaks...

KRB, With the egt at 8-900, and the sensor before the turbo, It looks good! More air would give you lower egt, Less air, higher egt, I dont think you have leaks, Just need more fuel to spin the turbo faster, resulting in more boost!
My egt,s were pegging 1500# easy, Had enough fuel, Added stage 3 HTT to help lower egt's.

Peter,
This thread has been interesting to see what boost is produced by what changes.
