Boost Gauge

Where do you suggest plumbing the boost gauge into a non-intercooled truck? I gauge I have is from Autometer.

Thanks,

Matt

On my 2nd gen, I purchased a boost bolt from the DTR store. It's a drilled out bolt that simply replaces one of the bolts on the intake plate and allows for a 1/8 NPT fitting to be threaded into the head of it. Very simple to install, no drilling or thread tapping required.

There is a pipe plug under the intake elbow in the side of the head. You can install your boost tube fitting here. You will have to drill a hole in your throttle bellcrank bracket to run your boost line.

I would just use the boost bolt no drilling required and very simple to install.

I used this one on my 89 motor. I did not have to drill out my bracket. It's a tight squeeze but works fine.

I was looking at that pipe plug behind the Non I/Ced bracket, but ended up getting a Boost bolt from Geno's.
They are free if you ask for one when buying a Boost gauge from them.
