Cool Body is on,

Well the body work is done. Paint is finally on the Beast. Still have to get the grill done. All that is left is to wire up the gauges, figure out the speedo sender, Fuel tank set up, & redo the wheel bearings.

Still debating on whether to do the black accents on the lower body line.
What do you guys think

Sweet!

I think it looks good just as is. What color is the hood? A flat black hood and black bottom would be nice too, plus make the truck look taller.

Can't you call it a W200 now?

Sweet truck!
I like the idea of the flat black hood. It might be interesting although maybe corny to see a Superbee stripe (possibly Superctd) on the rear or some sorta cuda/challenger stripes. Very nice color choice either way.

Looks sweet, I love the old muscle car colors. I once did a '78 short bed in plum crazy with a blacked out hood, a broken AAR style stripe and the large Charger R/T decals in front of the door. So I don't think you can go wrong.

My inspiration.

No The hood is going to bed green for now. The roof has too many dents that are impossible to get out for a first timer. Over all I am happy with the truck.. Thanks goes out to Cole_56 for his and his buddy Caleb help.

looks awesome man... I would definatly do the flat black scheme. I have a flat black hood power wagon hood on my yellow beast and it looks good. Keep up the good work

Here is an example of a bee stripe on a short bed. I never got around to the black hood on this truck, but it will have one wen it gets put back together after the conversion.

Your truck looks great. I love go green. My ramcharger may end up that color.

gloss black on the lower body line would be kool . and the top of the black on the bottom could be chopped up like the aar cuda stripe as it gets towards the back of the truck.

They are some old school magnesium 10" x 16.5". I polished them and painted the voids gloss black about 10 years back. They are currently on my cummins ramcharger.

I do not know what they are, but they were pretty popular in the 70s.

Sorry if I missed the thread somewhere but is this a bob tailed W200 CTD or really a W100 with transplanted CTD nad axles?

Those old ad pictures you posted were what I was thinking of I guess.
