Cummins would be your best place, but may not be your cheapest. Advance or Napa should be able to get one.

A squeak is usually the water pump. Best way to tell is to pop the belt off and see what makes noise when spun. A bad tensioner bearing usually makes the belt walk into the alternator.

Pep Boys and Advance usually stock the tensioner, it's around $90. Unless that's definitely the squeal don't replace it unless your belt is walking.

The water pump is cheap and easy - unlike a Chevy or a gasser.

well the belts not walking, but the tensioner was bounsing in there, you could see it moving, and it only makes it coming of freeway speeds (70mph.) when i am at a idle in stop and go. then after a bit its gone.

if it is a water pump, is there any more tale, tale sighns of it going bad. i have alway had them start to leak, on the chevs 6.2's. thanks Dave

The tensioner will bounce a bit, that's normal.

My water pump made noise but was not leaking when I replaced it. They run a little less than $50, and it's two bolts after you take the belt off.

If it's bad, you will be able to hear it when you spin it, and usually feel roughness if you turn it slow with your fingers. Same goes for the alt or fan bearing.

I'm not saying that it's the water pump and not the tensioner, I just want you to troubleshoot it thoroughly before you throw parts at it.
