I know there is a lot of stuff that is online all the time. Like the radio and ECN electronics. I'm not that confident in the new battery technology eother so I'm not particulary surprized by this. My Chevy S-10 blazer goes down after a couple of weeks if I don't drive it and it has a new 1000 CCA walmart special. The truck is better but it will still crank slow if it's been setting for several days.

If I were going to get something that was a quality battery, I would get 2 6V golf cart batteries and connect them in series. NOW THAT WILL CRANK!

Put an ammeter in series with the battery and start pulling fuses until the ammeter goes to less than 500 mA. That will let you narrow it down to one or two circuits at least.

The best way to test to battery is to just disconect it the next time you are going to leave it for a couple days.........if it starts the battery good and of not you have a short!

I have buy a battery that had a internal short and would drow it self dead with out any thing hooked to it!!

Remove the bulb in the glove compartment. That was where mine kept pulling the battery down from in about 3 days.
