Hey guys.. I drove my truck about 200 miles the other day and i lost 2-3 qts of fluid... tranny started to slip etc, i see fluid all over the bottem of my truck but cant pin point were its coming from.. any common areas where they leak? hate to ask a kinda dumb question but i cant find it...

The compression fittings leak if they loosen up any.

Front seal is another area.

Pan gasket.

 

also the dipstick tube.

 

sometimes a hairline crack can develope at the end of the flare ware it screws in on either end,you have to take them off and wipe them clean,you may even need a magnifying glass to see them that happened on my 99.

 

Got to start by cleaning up the mess and then run it a little and try to determine what is leaking.

 

Found it, one of the 2 hoses that run up to the radiator..
