Test fitting the new springs

all done, and sat overnight before torquing so they would be slightly pressurized by gravity.. The 9/16 U Bolts are torqued to 110 Ft Lbs, and the spring bolts (3/4 x 16) are torqued to 135 ft lbs as per the FSM.

I had to lower the mount for the rear brake hose, as the new hose was just a little too tight for my liking. It most likely would have been fine, but I didn't quite like the idea that if I overstretched the hose, I would have been really mad at myself. 5 minutes of drilling a new mounting hole, and it was done...
Here was the broken Rear Wheel Abs Sensor that I snapped off. Put the new one it, but I haven't gotten a new wire as of yet. I guess I'll just have to drive around with the brake lights on until I find a new wire

mine says it's truck it's supposed to ride like that.A couple days after I met her I took her for a ride in a Peterbilt NASCAR hauler. The guy I was working for had a Busch league? car. She said "that thing rides like a car".
My thoughts exactly....
My wife has done 2 rides in the crewcab since the 4wd conversion...both times there was a lot of grumbling, complaining, and swearing how she would rather not have to do this again.....because the thing rides SO RUFF now!!
I like your analogy there T....

Well .... well.....
It's obvious you have someone special. Don't let that one get away....
The issue is that we have little time to ourselves. Driving alone, kidneys being beaten up by the suspension, heavy metal music blasting, being able to fart at will....
well that's just quality time
No idea. Since I added 2 leafs, its generally assumed each leaf will hold 450 lbs, but then will the bearings and axles hold up ? Not really going to test it out very often, but at least when I put my trailer on the back, I won't be looking out my windshield at Uranus, Pluto or Jupiter any longer...

Oh, I called the spring shop.
They said that I can carry around this much if need be.. what's ya think ? Do you think I'll have a problem?

Finally got some time to continue this sucky process I've been doing with the epoxy on the frame of my pig.
Today, I removed my steering shaft shroud, cleaned the frame, and finished the epoxy install on the drivers side. Had to remove the plow bracket, as it was in need of rust treatment and epoxy covering behind it.
