Anyone running SDX 5x10 injectors?

I'm considering ordering some new injectors for my 93 soon. It is my daily driver/tow rig. I would like to hear some results on the SDX 5x10's. I would purchase some 5x12 injectors, but I got a feeling I would need to run a larger turbo.

I have 5x16 sdx. Go bigger and turn your pump down if its too much. No sense in spending that money if it wont be enough. Then youll have fuel for the future. I love the sdx injector. With my 63mm turbo at 50 psi maxed pump I see 1300 degrees

5x10's are barely bigger than stock I'm not even sure they'd make a difference. Stock is 6x.009

I'd got with a 5x12 or 5x14, archer93 has 5x14's with a 35/40 hybrid turbo and he tows with it, and it runs good too LOL

So I wouldn't need to run a different turbo to keep things cool with the 5x12 injectors? If driven properly could I still maintain good fuel milage with the 5x12?

No id say your stock turbo would be fine with some proper pump tuning.

With what's in your signature you would be fine with 5x12's. As suggested, go bigger maybe try a 5x14 and back the fuel screw out a little. A truck with stock intake and exhaust and H1c would probably get hot on a good pull but since you upgraded that stuff your egts should be on average a few hundred degrees cooler.

Thanks for the advice. I ordered the SDX 5x12 injectors a couple days ago. I can't wait to get them in.

you notice a difference, i went with 215 hp ppump tips and they are 5X10 and i noticed a tad better throttle responce, and once the laggy turbo spools i spin the tire a whole lot easier with 1000lbs in the bed, BUT my egts went from 1300 wot to over 1500 wot.

I am new to this too, i have a 90 and would like injectors (yes i know they are 9mm and not the 7mm). It is bone stock besides the 93 intercooler and turbo. would the 5x14 sticks be ok with a stock pump? MBRP 4" exhaust is in the future. And also do the 5x14s have the potential to be good injectors with a s300 turbo??

The non overcooled trucks had larger injectors. Think they were 5x.012s so 5x.014s is barely an improvement.
