you could just use the seat base and then a regular truck seat on top of that. i would actually think that besides the seat belt that a tractor seat would be more stable and stronger due to the terrain that they transverse. like said ealier just a idea.

I recall driving a LTL8000... maybe '86-ish that had some killer air rides. The height was air adjustable from a high almost standing position, down low enough you could barely see over the dash! Don't recall any of the other adjustments... just that you could drop them down for comfort and raise them up when the convertible clad ladies cruised past

I always thought they'd be great in pickup cab...

Some Dodge Raiders in the 80's had suspention seats, spring loaded that could be locked down solid also. I have one in mine. It works well. maybe I should mount it in the old picky-up and see if it helps.
