The site owners have decided they don't want that term used on DTR, so it's one of the words that is filtered out.

They have one, you want one. You can't make one yourself for $100. You can choose not to buy if you don't like the price.
Ya, I get it, I was just giving you a hard time .

And yes they have one, and I want one, but not for their price, which is why I'm asking. $560 bucks could be better spent than on a grill. For that price I can deal with a blank one. I understand completely that they need to make money, hence markup. But I think everybody can understand not wanting to pay that much.

Yeah, that's ridiculous money.

Dodgemonkey, I don't know what part of AZ you live in , but I was at A-1 auto wrecking last Fri, in Apache Junction and seen at least two good grills. Was looking for a bed side for my 01. They are located on Tomahawk south of Main....

I hadn't seen that post till now, thank you ofcmarc, They are like $330 from there, definitely a little easier to stomach, and they have a few other parts I need as well.

Grille dealers at swap meets are the best source i have found. Got a new in box directly from dodge with letters, had never seen the sunlight before i bought it. Guy found it at a dealership that went out of business. Thought he was taking me for a ride when i paid him 40 for it. Right place right time i guess.

Not looking for it, i'm simply saying that i have found the best way to find parts cheap for our trucks is to be around people who sell parts for all cars. example being a swap meet where a vendor may carry a blanket inventory of a particular part, like this fellow had grilles. The trick is to find someone who doesn't know what they are worth. Too him its just a ramcharger or half ton grille.
