Anybody know where to get an OEM grill?

Does anybody know where I can buy a good clean, preferably new OEM intercooled grill with the "DODGE" lettering across the front? I got hit and I need to find one. I hate the ones that are blank across the top, and not even the *********** can find one.

"Dealership" is fine, but that's not what you typed, is it?

ok s-t-e-a-l-ership but whats so wrong with that, they found one but its $560. And I rest my case. That plastic grill probably cost them less than $100 to make. Nobody has any other ideas? (So, why is that edited? It's not profane in any way...)

Because she can!

As for the grille, junkyard, junkyard and oh, junkyard. You might also try craiglook.com, ebay.com, car-parts.com, and maybe another swoop by your local junkyard, just to be sure.

That's what I figured. But its so true. $96 for a positive battery cable, $600 for the fan bearing and associated bracket, $475 for torque links on my dads 300, I could go on for days....

Wow, it's just as well I don't go to the dealership for parts! No wonder Chrysler were going under, they make most of their money through financing and parts, but no one can afford either these days!
I did price up those little nozzles for windshield washer fluid last year though, $28 each! No thanks.

No kidding. The only problem is that I live in Arizona, so two things are wrong with the junkyard picture. One, rust is unheard of, so most of these trucks are still on the road, and two, the sun absolutely destroys anything plastic after about 5 years. I have been able to find only two 1st gen diesels in the junkyards around here, both wrecked, and both non i/c 2wds. Everything else gets scrapped because the gas drivetrains and bodies aren't worth it to the junkyards to keep, remember, these trucks are fast approaching that magical 25yr mark.

According to LMC, Dodge started building trucks in 1994.

The site owners have decided they don't want that term used on DTR, so it's one of the words that is filtered out.

They have one, you want one. You can't make one yourself for $100. You can choose not to buy if you don't like the price.
