I read some reviews that sounded good.
I am looking at those or BFG T/A KO2s.
I like the tread on the Fun countrys but just not sure yet.

I'd have to stick them to get an accurate depth, but the are roughly quarter tread left. They are decent in the mud and snow. I will buy another set when these are wore out.
I am currently running the fun country in a 285/75r16. I have had them for around 3 years, and have around 40k miles, figure about 5k of those are towing.

I have a set of 37X13.5 Dick Cepek Fun Country on my White crew cab.
I have had them on that truck for 10 years and they still look great with no dry cracking.
I average 3,000-5,000 a year on them.
When my daughter and I take the Vanilla Gorilla on long trips, like to the Mopar Nationals in Carlisle, we throw on some spare 35s for the 1000 mile round trip.
They are wearing evenly and I really like that tire pattern for summer driving.

I used to run mud tires but now I just want something that works and lasts.
I live on a long dirt road so it is a great pattern for my local mixed road surfaces.
I don't really put the crew in the mud as I love the clean straight west coast sheet metal too much.
The pattern is spaced out enough the dirt doesn't pack in if I take out for some light trail riding, but is open enough it doesn't sound like or handle like a Bogger on the pavement.

I've never had a set of the Cepeks, but I can say the one set of BFG's I put on a Cummins left me much less than satisfied. Sidewall stiffness left much to be desired with the weight of our rigs. The first gen is a little lighter but not that much.
Thanks Pat, I had a set of Michelins that were awful for the same reason.
