I haven't ever used dickcepek tires but I will tell you it is defanatly bad to the rear tires rub each other. If the tires rub and you have alot of weight on them it will build up alot of heat in the tires and couse the sidewalls to fail.

They only touch for a split second as they rotate thru' the bottom.

Picture a sharp rock stuck between the sidewalls as it only touches a split second as it goes around the bottom....BOOOOM! Plus, they won't clean out in the mud at all...if you are intersted in that. It will become one big rotating mass of mud and you will have to unload your backhoe to pull yourself out!

Yep, that's what they generally all do when they rub, and this will cause failure given enough load and time.

From the Texas vehicle safety inspection rules:
2. Inspect for and reject if:
.
.
.
.
.
e. Any dual wheel assembly where the side of one tire is in contact with the other. (Any dual tires that contact each other.)
.
.
.
