Another gauge installed!

I just installed my poor man's boost gauge. A $20 ElCheapo oil pressure gauge, reads from 10-100psi with a tick for every 2 psi. I hit 30#'s even WOT, and speed shifting never got me below 10#'s. I am proud of myself Next is to get a real 40 or 60# gauge but this will satisfy my curiosity. Doesn't match my other gauges but when I redo the gauge cluster, I will be looking at different ones. BTW this is what it looks like

Surplus Center usually has water pressure gauges in useful ranges for things like boost and fuel pressure. As of right now, they have a 60 psi one that looks like a Z-series Autometer for $10.

I keep waiting for Surplus Center to have the alternator tachs again. Much easier to make work on the 89-91 w/out tach provision.

Ok, at 60 mph, the needle is on the stop but as soon as I go over a overpass, the needle moves to about the 3-4 psi area, not quite half way from the stop to 10 psi. Should I be at about 2-3 psi? That would mean just off the stop. Any suggestions?

Jon

Edit: I can hit 30 psi when I floor it at 60 and hit about 65. Nice!
