Luk Clutch replacement questions?
So, I'm about to put in a new Luk clutch, the 12 1/4 in. disc plate for loads and what not, Rep-Set 05 something, anyway, there are three parts in the accessories bag I’m a little unclear on as to there purpose.
There are two round brass fittings that I am assuming replace the one in the flywheel input shaft whole, however they are both completely different from the one needing replaced. The old one is longer, about 1 ½ in. The two new ones are a 1 in. brass fitting, and then a 1 ¼ in. brass fitting with one end flared, at a ninety, about a ½ in. in diameter as well.
The third part is a bearing set, about an inch long with needle like bearings packed and set inside that fits on the main input shaft of the tranny but I didn’t pull one off, and I’m not clear where it should go. It’s not identified in either of my manuals either.
I figure that a couple parts may not be used, but I do need to replace that brass fitting in the flywheel and I'm not sure which one to use, or is it both?
I figured I’d put this out there to you’ll first and see what comes up, now I’m going to go search the net and what not. Hot and dry in Montana.

The pilot bushing is brass- about 1-1/2" wide by 1" or sio deep, with a shoulder to prevent driving it into the crankshaft.
I dont know what else there would be in te way of bearings, unless it was the stock 94+ roller pilot bearing, which is a hair bigger than the pilot bushing.
If you can, return the LuK, and get a Sachs (13"; oem). I was severly disappointed in the LuK I had, and it was part of why I sold the truck so cheaply- it wouldnt hold what a stock 250K mi clutch would hold.
