Another air filter thread

My work step van has a cummins air filter #3910946 or wix #46268, this one is 215 cfm. The BHAF is 680 cfm, is there a way to look at other filter options for this vehicle? This filter is good for My setup bc of the way it is built but I think it is too restrictive and the engine could run cooler (lower egt's) if I could let more air in it.

Thanks in advance.

Wow, I'm alone on this one.
I'm looking for a air filter with a 3" ID outlet and a lip I can use a clamp to clamp it to the 3" intake tubing I have. I went to the parts store and could not find a single one like this but thought maybe someone here have come to a situation like this before.

Thank You.

What about Amsoil EaAU3050.... Does that look like something you could use?

That is not an option for Me on this setup.

Mostly I'm looking for a filter with a weather shield, higher than 215 cfm's paper and with a lip I can use a clamp to hold it with.
I have some wix manuals but no pictures on them so it is hard to find something suitable with only a part #.

Thank You.

Exekiel, have you looked on the NAPA website? Wix makes the NAPA filters and they're rebadged so it's one and the same. I'd also check out JBradley's link above. I've heard nothing but good things about the Amsoil filters.

Yep, those are just what I need to connect it to the intake tubing, I wonder if they are the type You clean with some bleach and then put some oil when it is dry?
Will look at the napa website, maybe they have some pics there.

Thank You.

Nope, those get cleaned by blowing compressed air from the inside of the filter and it blows the dirt out of the filter. No oil either. The AmsOil filters are the ones you really want on a turbo IMO
