Anyone running a dual-element filter? I blew out the filter on the 7250 (has a 503 Cummins) and I got the thinking, it probably wouldn't be hard to swap in the housing for running an inner element. Then if the main filter develops a leak, I'd still have the inner, which is why they are run like that in off-road equipment. And I figure that if it can feed a 503 at 2500 RPM and 280HP, it should feed 359 at 160 with no trouble.
