on top of the pump there is 4 flathead screws and on the side there is a banjo bolt. Take the 4 screws out and the bolt out. That little tube is the boost reference for adding fuel. Pull the top cover off CAREFULLY as to not tear the diaphram under. Pull the diaphram out which has the fual pin attached to it. The large nut with splines under the spring is the star wheel. Just turn it to the right till it stops for max fuel ASAP, or adjust for little smoke by turning left to decrease fuel till boost is there.
Hope this is some help, I'm one of those people that can do but not teach to well. lol

Thanks, Pwrtrip, you did real well for somebody who says they can't teach. You made it much clearer to me even though I've already read the link info a couple of times.
Sorry about the accident, Ryan, I hope you get well real soon! Just snort a few drops of diesel every now and then and you'll be better in no time.
Do I have to post a disclaimer for the one lamebrain on the planet who would follow that advice? I think I won't 'cause it might be good for them afterall....

I'd recommend leaving it turned off- there is absolutely no reason to leave it running. With your auto, I think you have some allen screws to take off. Be VERY careful of your TPS housing and the little stuff associated with it- I dont think they are available seperately.
After that, have fun. I cant grind fuel pins at this time, as my dremmel took an eternal celestial dirt nap after a buddy and I ground off a Getrag bearing from the mainshaft- exceeded maximum safe operating temps.

Info an a "clearanced" afc pin
Does anyone know where to get info on how to clearance the afc pin. i.e. the geometry and depth of the desired material removal? I don't want to just start grinding away, but it doesn't look too tough (at least on the surface).
Thanks
Thanks
