I'd like to replace my front grill with a blacked-out version, replace the front bumper with a heavier duty version, and I need backup lights that can fill the 3"x5" holes in my rear valance where the exhaust used to come through.

Does anybody have a source, online or off, for these trucks. All of the catalogs and websites I look at are all post-93. Thanks in advance.

Also I need a pair of license plate lights for the rear plate. The 'glas rear valance that I have doesn't have any installed. I can't find anybody who sells them.

 

There's not much out there for 1st gens.

Grill- you could buy a silver grill shell and paint it, GetCrashParts.com and Parts Train are good sources. Then sell the chrome one to recover some of the costs.

Bumper will have to be custom. With your springs the heavier the better.

For the backup lights, how about a set of cheapo driving lights from JC Whitney(run 'em off a relay, of course).

All the chain auto parts stores have universal license plate lights in the electrical or Help! section. You'll have to solder a wire to the body of the light to ground it since you're putting it in fiberglass.

 

Thanks for the links. I almost ordered the grille and a pair of tail lights from PartsTrain until I saw the S+H costs: $90+. Ouch.
