AC Condensor question
Is there any other condensor used by Mother Mopar that used the same style fitting but is a little more compact?
I'm trying to get the AC working on my junk but the Intercooler is in the way, and No I won't go to the 91-93 grille.

If your wanting to go smaller your going to loose some efficiency in your A/C. As for a factory mopar condenser, I'd say hit the wreckers and look in cars and trucks from the same era as your truck. Ma' Mopar should have used the same style fittings.

Yeah I know I'll lose a little efficiency but oh well
Yep, got a trip up to Omaha tomorow to scrounge around the u- Pullit yards to see whats what.
If I would go with the newer style grille I would have no problems fitting a bigger than stock one up there but I like the 86-90 grille.

I have built remote condensers that mount under the frame on some custom installs, nothing says they have to be in front of the radiator or even in front of the truck.
You could install a remote condenser under the frame rail as long as you have adequate airflow.

Just make sure they are rated for the same B.T.U.

Well just got back from a U-Pullit trip with stillsmokin, I scored a condensor from a late 80s Dakota that should work pretty well with my configuration It is also about the same surface area as the stock dodge one from our trucks. I also scored a set of good chrome trimmed taillights, a set of bed rail caps and a set of aftermarket steps for an old dodge.
Stillsmokin scored some parts for his daily beater, a nice set of seatbelts for his crew and we also pulled a 241 pass side drop out a 89 burb.
