bumper and AC condensor
well last fall i had a mishap with my truck involving a concrete filled steel pole, and my front bumper.
i am currently building a custom steel, off road style bumper with light buckets and some nice D-rings for pulling idiots out of the mud and snow.
now my attention goes to my ac condensor, a few rows were destroyed so i pinched them off and sealed it up and havent used the AC since, i need to find a new condensor somewhere becasue the dealer says $263 and i know its gotta be cheaper elsewhere.
anyone know a place that would be able to get it cheaper?

A drier is not a bad idea. It basically is a filter. Any time the system is open for an extended period of time, it should be replaced. I know you said you sealed it, but crap gets in.

Yes replace your drier as the last step before you recharge your system. when you go to recharge your system get a cheap AC manifold set mack sure you get the adapters you need to connect to your truck. You will need to borrow or rent a vacuum pump. connect it to your gauges that are connected to your truck and run the pump for at least an hour. This will pull all the moisture and dirt and such out of the system. the shut off the guages with the pump still running and then shut the pump off and let it sit for awhile ( make note of where your guages read they should be around -26 to -28 with a decent vac pump) and make sure the guage doesn't move and this is a good way to check for leaks if the gauge moves at all then hook up your refrigerant and turn the refigerant on to the guages and bleed a little bit out to get the air out of the lines. the turn on your guages and start filling the truck unless you have a good refrigerant scale the best way is to start the truck turn the ac on and let it run it will not start until the system is partially charged ( pressure switch ) the keep adding till the ac gets nice and cold the instance it does this shut off the gauges so you don't over fill the system. need any other help PM me ..
Hope this helps
