I was checking out alldatas web site, and they have the fuel injection pump listed as a safety recall. So I called the dealer, and they said it was no specific to my truck as it was only certain vin#s. How would I go about finding more info on this. I have 221,000 on my truck and if I can score a new pump that would be cool! By the way, neat web site! ps, my truck is a 93,CC, 4x4

 

Any Dodge dealer should be able to run your vin to see if your pump was recalled, and if it has been done already or not.<br><br>Paul

 

Not all were recalled, I had my vin# ran twice hoping to get a new pump for free, can't knock a guy for trying :

 

I have only heard of trucks up/including the 92.5 model year.<br>After that we're all supposed to be ok. The VIN is the way to check it, that's how mine was given a green light, and my brothers 92 got called in for replacement.<br><br>bob.

 

Well, did some digging around and found a part# specific recall on the pumps. It turns out if it didnt have a specific number on the id. tag then you were all good. Oh well. On to the next thing.
